Why I Prefer Being Alone

-There is no fear of anyone judging me for the things I say, for the way I look at things, for the way I behave.

-No one questions my quiet nature or urges me to speak even when I have nothing to say.

-I do not have to worry about whether someone understands me or not, with my inexpressive face and inability to put my thoughts into words.

-I do not have to pretend that I am having fun with a person or persons when, in reality, I can’t wait to leave and head home to the cosy corner of my bedroom.

-I can be me when I am alone. And that’s the best thing.
